Special today is a bbq beef sandwich with red onions and cheddar on ciabatta 🙂 soup is tomato jalapeño and the drink special is a strawberry rhubarb margarita!

Hey all! Today, for lunch, we are serving up Alaskan halibut fish and chips with Cole slaw, lemon, caper-dill tartar, and cocktail sauce as well.

Happy MLK Day…Our lunch special is a Grilled Chicken Sandwich with house-made bbq sauce, tomato, onion, cheddar and Swiss cheese, with garlic aioli on grilled ciabatta. The soup du jour is Roasted Red Pepper Orange Dill.

I've eaten at Cafe 440 a number of times over the past few years and I've always enjoyed it, with great food, great drinks and a wonderful atmosphere. on 12/3 I ordered takeout from them since dine in isn't allowed right now. The food was cooked very quickly (it was faster than I was getting there) the service when I arrived was extremely friendly and they had even refrigerated my desserts and growler for me since I was running behind. The food was absolutely fantastic and honestly the best takeout experience I've had in Eugene. The chocolate kahula cheesecake was amazing and I honestly hate cheesecake. Friendly service with a welcoming atmosphere and great food. I would really recommend everyone to try this place next time you're looking for something new.

I always have great food experiences here. The owner is also actively involved, working at the restaurant, and is super nice. Although I understand the medical importance of distancing etc, I am saddened by the financial impact its having on local business owners. I had the peanut chicken and it was so delicious. I really wanted to devour the whole thing, but had to take some back to my husband because I knew he would absolutely love it too, which he most definitely did!!
