This is a local Treasure. A very pleasant man seated us and we found out that he was the owner! The food was out of this world. It simply blew us away. We had the Mac n cheese and ahi tuna pasta! We ended up having the peanut butter cheese cake for dessert and ordering the amazing fries to go. You will not be disappointed. Our server Jenna was very polite, helpful, truly knew her stuff and was simply beautiful. Wonderful first dinning experience. Thank you :)

Cafe 440 is INCREDIBLE. This restaurant has a menu to die for—world-class yet accessible, and arguably some of the best in the Pacific Northwest. Bold and incredible female head chef Katie forges creative new flavor fusions with well-deserved pride and refreshing lack of ego. You can order anything on the menu and know you'll love it. Some of the best service I've ever experienced, anywhere. And: Owners Todd and Martha lead by example. They find their way, time and again, year over year, to give back to the community and re-invest into local nonprofits and charities, arts and music, even when times are tough. These are genuinely amazing people, and this restaurant is a profound treasure.

We went to Eugene for some supplies and wanted to go to lunch after the shutdown. We originally wanted to eat outside, but since those tables were full, we went in.. the tables were well spaced and they were taking all reasonable precautions. I had figured 440 could be trusted during the pestilence, and they did it right. The menu was somewhat reduced, but still good as ever. So that’s it. We still look forward to the food, and we feel safe there during the pandemic.
